Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25 in 1970) is an American actor from the United States. She is known for portraying Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant on the HBO show Big Love and Francine Hanson on the AMC show Mad Men. Anne Dudek is an American actress best known for playing Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy movie White Chicks. She has also been known for television roles such as The Dr. Amber Volakis on Fox's House, Danielle Brookson on the USA Network's Covert Affairs, and Lura grant on the HBO series Big Love. Dudek was born in Massachusetts was a student at Northwestern University and got her very first acting job in The Iphigenia Cycle. It was staged off Broadway in New York City where she was awarded the Joseph E. Calloway award for her stunning performance and was also profiled as one of the top ten emerging theater actors to follow in American Theater Magazine. Dudek was eventually offered parts on TV and the big screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actress, mother of two behind the camera was her husband for a period of time from 2007 to 2016. Dudek was conceived on the streets of Boston Massachusetts in 1975 and born in Newton. She was a student at Northwestern University in her early years where she appeared in a variety of theatre productions as well as on Broadway performing in The Glass Menagerie of the Wrong Mountain in 2000. The performance she made in The Glass Menagerie earned her the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. Then she appeared on TV beginning with the British comedy drama The Book Group. She has since guest-starred on a number of other TV shows including Desperate Housewives How I Met Your Mother Friends ER Charmed Bones, Numb3rs, and Six Feet Under. In addition, she portrayed Lucinda in the pilot episode of Psych. She then played the role of a teacher at high school with romance with one of her students on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek then got a role as Amber Volakis, one of the 40 doctors was Dr. Gregory House was considering to hire permanently in his medical staff. It began during the season four of House. Dudek continued playing her character for the entirety of the season. However, she was killed in Wilson's head as well as the House's heart in the two-part finale of the show. She would later reappear in the form of a hallucination created during the episode House in the episode of the fifth season Saviors after which she appeared as a hallucination for the remainder of the season. Dudek then appeared as Francine as the neighbor next door on Mad Men and as Alby's antagonistic wife on Big Love. Dudek was a part of Covert Affairs in 2010, as Danielle Brooks. She is the daughter of the main character. The other roles in her film are Tiffany Wilson (the cruise-line's heir) in White Chicks (2004) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
