Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski, also known by the name Paul Wesley, is an Oscar-winning director and actor best known for his role in the popular television drama the show The Vampire Diaries. In recognition of his performance in the series, he received numerous awards and nominations. Wesley was born in New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his high school years he showed an interest in acting. Then he attended Rutgers University. But after realizing his talent in acting and the fact the possibility of making money from his incredible acting abilities and talents, he decided to leave school. He made his first TV appearance in an American TV soap opera Another World. He played the lead in Wolf Lake, a CBS TV show two years after. His career reached a turning moment when he began playing the character of Stefan Salvatore, in the well-known American television series The Vampire Diaries. He has also directed several episodes of the television series. Since when he first made his debut in film with The Last Run, he's appeared in a number of famous films. Recent roles include Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a second actor. He's also quite famous on social media sites and has more than thirteen million users on Instagram and 4.1 million followers on Twitter.
